We had a summer trip down to Purbeck in the Junkyard it gave us a bit of grief on the way down cutting out on us just outside of Salisbury causing an almighty bang as the unspent fuel exploded in the carburetor. The ignition lights all come on and I could not immediately find the issue but after checking all the wires it started again sounding a little worse for wear but got us there and around our holiday without further issues.

We stayed at Wareham Tourist Park which is located in the Wareham Forrest, lovely quiet park with good facilities, although the ablutions are a little way from the camping area we found. Thank fully we enjoyed great weather during the week visiting Weymouth, The Sealife Centre, Monkey World, Swanage, Corfe Castle via the Swanage Steam Railway Park & Ride so plenty of things to keep us and little Ceara occupied.

Friday night before we were ready to go home we had a wild thunder storm and heavy rain the campsite was sodden but everything but the weather was calm enough for us to have breakfast and pack everything away before it all started again. the trip home was eventful couldn’t see anything roads were like rivers and water was pouring in everywhere I was soaked by the time we got home and took days to dry everything but that’s the UK for you.
